Our flagging system helps us to maintain a safe, professional environment for the entire uShip community. Flags allow our members to help keep the community in check while using our products. Before you flag something, please make sure the content you're flagging is in direct violation of one of our policies listed below. Our flagging policies aim to protect the privacy of our members, prevent site circumvention, and promote professionalism.
All communication must go through uShip prior to booking
Contact information is not to be posted at any time, regardless of who it belongs to. This includes phone/fax numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, website URLs, social networking sites, company names, last names, locations, etc. This also means that you cannot direct other members off the site by asking them to search for you through search engines, social networking sites or any outside references you may have. This information can be exchanged once a quote is formally booked.
Quotes must be all-inclusive and discussed in all-inclusive terms
Quotes must include all overhead costs (travel expenses, food, etc.), fees (uShip or otherwise), tolls, permits, etc. Quotes must also include all items listed or discussed on the site. It is the responsibility of both the service provider and the shipping customer to make sure quotes are accurate. Service providers can only accept payment via the payment code when the shipment is booked via uShip Payments, and should not request or otherwise refer to offsite payments when quoting with uShip Payments.
All content posted must be directly related to the shipment or services listed
We don’t tolerate comments unrelated to the shipment or services being discussed. This includes direction to profiles, reviews, or notifications that a quote was previously submitted. We don’t allow unsolicited legal advice or “warnings” of any kind. Please keep all conversation direct and to the point.
All uShip members must act professionally and use common sense
uShip is a business site where all members are responsible for maintaining a professional and cordial demeanor before and after booking. We don’t tolerate the use of hostile, offensive, profane, or vulgar language. Members are held responsible for transacting within the law.
All content you post must be your own
You may only post content on uShip that is original and created by you.
Members must not discourage other members from using uShip products
You may not suggest or demand that another member not use valid products or payment methods offered by uShip. We deliver products with the intention of creating the best experience possible for our users, and we want our products to be available to as many people as possible.
