Customer Specific Pricing
Customer specific pricing is a pricing agreement between a shipping customer and a specific freight carrier. If you ship freight 50+ times per month, you may be eligible to apply for special pricing with certain LTL Carriers.
Qualifications:
As a rule of thumb, you will generally need to provide shipping history that shows you ship at least 50-100 LTL Freight shipments per month in order for the carrier to a consider a a specific pricing plan for your business.
Timeline:
Please note that it will generally take 4-6 weeks for a carrier to respond with a customer specific pricing agreement and can sometimes take quite a few contacts back and forth. However, the process is well worth it to get better pricing!
