Earliest Pickup Date Buffer

This feature allows you to set a buffer between when an order is placed and when it's available for pickup by the carrier.

What is the Earliest Pickup Date Buffer?

The buffer is the number of days added to the current date to determine the earliest date a shipment can be picked up. This gives you time to process and prepare the order.

Setting the Buffer

To set the Earliest Pickup Date Buffer:

1. In the uShip app settings, find the "Earliest Pickup Date" section
2. Enter the number of days you want as a buffer
3. Save your changes

Considerations for Setting the Buffer

• Consider your order processing time and how long it typically takes to prepare items for shipment
• A longer buffer can give you more flexibility but may result in longer estimated delivery times for customers
• Balance customer expectations with your operational needs
