To arrange a carrier terminal drop-off and/or pickup for your shipment, please select Business w/ Dock or Forklift as the location type when quoting.

Note: If you want the freight picked up at the destination terminal, please select Call Before Delivery service when running to the quote in order to get the correct price. Carrier's charge a notify fee for terminal pickups.

After selecting a quote from LTL Instant Rates, you’ll be directed to the shipment details page. On the shipment details page, please type (Insert Carrier Name) Terminal for the company name. For example, "YRC Freight Terminal." You’ll then enter the carrier's local terminal address as the street address. Please use the name and phone number of the person picking up or dropping off the freight as the contact name and phone number.

The following links and phone numbers are how you can locate the addresses for an LTL carrier's freight terminals. If a phone number listed, call the carrier to ask for terminal information.

Remember that consolidators have few, if any, of their own terminals. You might need to ask for their partner carrier terminal info.

When dropping freight off at a terminal, you’ll still need to bring a copy of the uShip BOL to give to the carrier and another copy of the BOL to affix to the freight.

When picking up freight at a terminal, the consignee will need to have the carrier Pro number to reference. Persons dropping off or picking up freight from a terminal also need to bring a government issued photo ID with them.
