5 Steps to Empower Your Research on uShip

Updated
uShip gives you a variety of tools to help empower your research into service providers on our site. We provide feedback, reviews, cancellation information, shipment data, and more.

As a shipping customer, it's your role and responsibility to use this information to make the most informed decision for yourself. Use your common sense, and be careful when engaging in any type of transaction. This will protect you, your family and your possessions.

For example, wiring $15,000 to a service provider in advance for a shipment defies common sense, yet, unfortunately, people unwittingly do so. The bottom line – if something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

Do your research
uShip has packaged up key information on service providers for your review. Use it to your advantage! All reviews and cancellation comments are left by actual customers, so these are a must-read.

Ask questions
Before accepting a bid, feel free to contact service providers through your Listing Q&A and your Bid Details with specific questions about the services they offer. Keep in mind that asking a question in no way obligates you to do business with that service provider.

Evaluate all bids
The lowest price isn't always the way to go. You might receive a slightly higher bid from a more experienced service provider who's better suited to your needs. The more flexible you are with your dates and requirements, the lower your bids will be.

Feel comfortable with your decision
If you end up not feeling entirely comfortable with the service provider you booked with, you can cancel the transaction prior to pickup for a full refund.

Ship with Confidence
Your transaction is backed by our “Ship with Confidence” guarantee, which means your shipment is automatically covered up to $500, under the terms and guidelines of our guarantee.
