Creating & Managing Sub-Accounts

Updated

As a policy, uShip allows only one account per business entity.

If you have multiple employees or agents at your company, creating sub-accounts will help you manage your uShip activity. Sub-accounts are separate logins consolidated under a master account.

While owners of sub-accounts have their own account login information, can provide separate contact information, and can bid and book shipments on uShip, only the master account is visible to other members.

All feedback is aggregated under the master account and only the master account can withdraw funds from uShip.

To create sub-accounts:

1. Login to your uShip account and click here to go to the Add / Manage Sub-Accounts page under your Account Settings.

2. Click the button to Create a Master Account and then select the Add a Sub-Account button.

3. Enter the name and email address of the new sub-account user and select Add this Sub-Account. That person will then receive an email asking them to create their account. Once they're registered, their sub-account will be linked to your master account.

You can manage the status of your sub-accounts and remove sub-accounts from the Add / Manage Sub-Accounts page.
