Filing A Ship with Confidence Guarantee Claim

To qualify for the "Ship with Confidence" Guarantee you'll need to:
  •  Follow our Safe Shipping Guide.
  •  Submit your request within 15 days of delivery, or within 30 days of matching on uShip, whichever is earlier.
  •  Attempt to work out any issues directly with your provider.
  •  Inform uShip of the issue, use the 'Report a Problem' button on your shipment listing in My Shipments.

  •  Cover letter detailing the events of your claim
  •  Copy of executed written contract or agreement with your provider
  •  Proof of delivery including a signed bill of lading with notated damages
  •  Copy of communication between you and your provider
  •  Official estimate of damages
  •  Pictures at pickup and delivery
  •  Proof of any denied insurance claims

Before submitting a claim against the uShip Guarantee, you'll need to take the following steps.

  •  Pictures at pickup

Excluded Items:
  •  Transactions that are consummated "off-site" as well as on-site transactions that are subsequently canceled.
  •  Damage claims for shipments that fall under the following categories:
    •  Pets
    •  Trailers
    •  Food and agriculture products (including flowers, cotton, plants, fresh foods)
    •  Passengers
    •  Junk
    •  Aircraft
    •  Personal effects such as jewelry, precious stones, metals, cash in transit, etc.
  • Problems that arise from not following our Safe Shipping Guide.
  • Insurance claims deductibles.
