How Feedback Works

Updated

Feedback is one of the most important aspects of your uShip profile. For every completed shipment you book through uShip, both you and the customer will be given an opportunity to leave a positive, neutral, or negative rating for each other based on your shared experience. A positive rating is worth +1, a neutral rating 0, and a negative rating -1. However, if someone leaves more than one of a particular type of feedback for you, those ratings will only count once towards your score. For example, if you book 5 shipments with the same customer and the customer leaves 3 positive and 2 negative ratings for you, your net score from that customer will amount to 0.

Your score is also calculated as a Positive Feedback percentage using the formula below.

Likewise, your score is represented in Star Rating form (1-5 stars). In the example below, the corresponding Positive Feedback percentage would be 95-96%.

In addition to the feedback rating, both parties can write a short comment detailing the reason for the rating. Lastly, your customers can also choose to provide Detailed Feedback ratings on a scale of 1-5 in the following 4 categories:

  • Communication
  • Care of Goods
  • Punctuality
  • Services as Described

While those ratings are also depicted in star form, they do not have any bearing on the overall Star Rating mentioned above.
