At Delivery


You've made the long trip, and you're at the point of delivery: what next? Always inspect the shipment upon arrival with the customer and make sure to provide the customer with a Bill of Lading (BOL). Once you've determined that everything looks okay and your shipping customer has agreed, ask for the payment code. If the payment was done via a booking deposit, you should have pre-determined remaining balance payment terms with your shipping customer long before delivery. 

If there are any damages, be honest with your customer. Hopefully they purchased uShip Cargo Insurance or you have them covered!
